LOGANSPORT,
IN (July 1-3) -- For the second consecutive year, Team Hoosier swept
the 600 Outlaw Nationals contested at Logansport's US-24 Speedway. In
the 600 Open class, Dane Ronk captured the prestigious win as 18
of the 21 feature starters rode on Hoosier's 69.0/10.0W-10 micro
sprint tire (photo). In the 600 Non-Wing class, 14-year-old Brady
Bacon from Oklahoma led every lap of the 40-lap feature en route to
the win. According to Hoosier Dealer Paul Moyer, "This young
fellow is one to keep your eye on." In the 600 Restrictor class,
it was 15-year-old Cory Hayden taking the victory.
Hoosier Open Wheel Dirt Product Manager Neil Cowman
commented, "Paul continues to do a great job on behalf of Hoosier
Racing Tire Corp. servicing the micro midget market in the Midwest."
Cowman added, "Don't be surprised if we don't see the next Jeff
Gordon or Tony Stewart emerge from this talented group of
youngsters."
Hoosier Racing Tire Corp. congratulates all the
competitors at this year's 600 Outlaw Nationals particularly those who
rode on "Tires Designed for Champions".
