WALNUT, IL (May 2-3) -- Merrill Crose can now add his name to the growing list
of ATV riders to win in the AMA ATV Motocross Championship on Hoosier's new ATV MX tires. The Sibley, MO rider posted two solid first place finishes
in both his Motos to claim the overall win in the Veteran 30+A class at the
Sunset Ridge ATV National on Sunday. Crose is also now eligible to collect two FREE
Hoosier ATV tires as a result of his participation in the new
"Hoosier Rewards"
contingency program. After finishing 3rd overall in his second event of the season at the
Bluegrass Nationals in Kentucky, like all riders, Crose wanted to improve his chances of
a top finish. So, he purchased a set of Hoosier ATV MX tires from Hoosier Tire
Midwest (20.5x6.0-10 MX200 fronts, part #16600 and 18.0x10.0-8 SOFT rears,
part #16700).
Crose then e-mailed Hoosier's ATV Product Manager Neil Cowman to inform him
of his purchase and voice his interest in the new contingency program.
At Walnut, the new Hoosiers had an immediate impact with Crose taking first place in
both his Motos in the Veteran 30+A class.
Hoosier's Cowman, who attended the event, met up with Crose after his wins.
Crose informed Cowman, "The new (Hoosier) tires worked really well and
provided very good forward bite all day."
Cowman added, "I really hope other riders see the success that Randy
(Shilling) and Merrill (Crose) are having and also try a set of our new
ATV tires."

In other news at the event, Randy Shilling, winner of the first two
events of the season in 4-Stroke A class on Hoosiers, was once again leading in
his Moto when disaster struck.
Shilling suffered a dislocated left shoulder when another rider, making a
triple jump, accidentally made contact with him.
Everyone at Hoosier Racing Tire would like to wish Randy a very speedy
recovery.
Get well soon Randy!
