SHILLING, LANKFORD & GIPPLE
ALL WINNERS ON HOOSIER ATV MX TIRES
AT AMA ATV MOTOCROSS NATIONALS AT RED BUD

Randy Shilling back in the winner's circle after his mid-season injury.BUCHANAN, MI (August 1-2, 2009) -- This past weekend at Red Bud there were three more riders capturing overall class wins while riding on Hoosier tires. Randy Shilling, Tim Lankford and Tanner Gipple each claimed overall wins in their respective classes on Hoosier ATV tires. The three riders are among the growing list of winners on Hoosier's new ATV MX tires. In addition to these riders, Harold Goodman was also the Holeshot Award winner in the 2nd Moto of the AMA Pro ATV class on Hoosiers. The event at Red Bud attracted more than 700 riders.

Randy Shilling (upper right) looks to be back on track after an early-season injury sidelined him for two events. Shilling shook off the effects of his shoulder injury to win both his Motos and capture the overall win in the 4-Stroke A class. Prior to this year, the Winona Lake, IN rider had never won a national event. Now, after making the switch to the Hoosier brand, he has three national event wins and is second overall in the 4-Stroke A class.

With the two Moto wins the Madisonville, TN rider captured the overall victory on his #9 Suzuki.

Amazingly, Lankford was the only rider among the 30 class starters to use the Hoosier brand.

Lankford is currently leading the overall 450C class with five overall wins this season.

While in the 90 Modified (8-15) class, Tanner Gipple (lower right) completed the trifecta for Team-Hoosier by claiming wins in both of his Motos.

Tanner Gipple is joined in the winner's circle by his father after capturing the overall win in Modified (8-15) . The two wins were more than enough for the New London, IA rider to capture the overall 90 Modified (8-15) class win.

It was also the first national event win of the season for the young rider.

Gipple now ranks third overall in the season standings in the 90 Modified (8-15) class.

Hoosier Racing Tire would like to congratulate Tanner Gipple, Timmy Lankford and Randy Shilling for putting the Hoosier brand atop the podium in their respective classes.

We would also like to congratulate Harold Goodman for earning the Holeshot Award in the Pro ATV division.

We would also like to recognize the following riders for using Hoosier ATV tires at Red Bud; Shane Cochran, Greg Gee, Joseph Bruening, Sean Taylor, Cody Suggs, Stephen Schenk, Cory Acker, Kayle Dyer, Scott Shelhart, Dalton Millican, James Perry, Wyatt Evans, Jason Klootwyk and James Murrah. (We apologize if we missed recognizing anyone else who was riding on Hoosiers at Red Bud.)

As a reminder, Hoosier continues to offer its new contingency program to competitors at AMA ATV MX National events.

The "Hoosier Rewards" program awards FREE tires for riders finishing first or second in their class.

Hoosier ATV Product Manager Neil Cowman attended the event and provided the details used in this report.

Cowman commented, "Riders using Hoosier new ATV MX tires continue to show impressive results at every event this year. We are very pleased with the performance of the tires--particularly their ability to get off the starting gate."
