IN (Wednesday October 3, 2012) -- We are pleased to announce the return of
Hoosier Racing Tire as the tire of choice
for the weekly 410 sprint cars at Knoxville Raceway, including the Knoxville
Nationals, Attica Raceway Park, Fremont Speedway, and the IRA Sprints. All 3
tracks and the IRA Sprints will be utilizing Hoosiers on all 4 wheel positions.
In addition, Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway will be utilizing
Hoosiers on all 4 wheel positions on their 305 sprint classes beginning in
2013.
Neil Cowman, sprint car
product manager for Hoosier, was extremely pleased to hear the news. ”The 410
sprint market has always been an important part of Hoosier’s overall
business. We are very pleased to be back involved with the 410 sprints at these
prestigious facilities as well as the IRA traveling sprint series. Hoosier has
not been sitting idly by these last 3 years but has been very active testing
new sprint products to ensure a quality, competitive tire for racing.”
Cowman went on to say, “Our

weeks to make this happen. There is no doubt that Hoosier’s commitment to

done.”
Rich Farmer, Promoter at
Fremont Speedway said, ”We evaluated what all tire manufacturers had to
offer. When we compared everything, Hoosier offered the best package for our
race teams and the track. Hoosier has a long history of providing a safe
consistent product with great service and reliable supply.”
Steve
Sinclair, President of the IRA Sprints had this to say, “The Bumper to Bumper
IRA Outlaw Sprint Series has signed a 5-year agreement with Hoosier Tire as the
Official Tire of IRA. Based upon test results, and the confidence our racers
have in various potential Hoosier tire combinations, combined with solid
relationships our group and dealer has had with Hoosier, made us believe this
was the right choice for us.”

McCoy, Knoxville’s Race Director. “We have tried to strike a balance

Attica
Raceway Park’s John Bores was also pleased to have Hoosier back on the sprint
classes. “We have had a good relationship with Hoosier in the past. The
quality of their tires and service for the race tracks and the race teams has
always been top notch.”
