LAKEVILLE,
IN -- Thirty-two-year-old Chad Kemenah officially captured his third
consecutive All Star Circuit of Champions Series crown this past
weekend. The Findlay, OH driver had six wins in the 44 events
contested this year in the series en route to the title. In addition
to being his third consecutive championship, it was also the fourth
consecutive title for the Hoosier brand. Kenny Jacobs won the series
crown in 2001 on Hoosier tires to start the 4-year string. Kemenah won
this season's championship by 274 points over Danny Smith who also
competed on Hoosier tires. In fact, eight of the top ten and 17 of the
top 20 drivers in the final points standings rode on Hoosiers.
Overall, 38 of the 44 events this year were won by drivers using
Hoosier tires.
Hoosier Open Wheel Dirt Product Manager Neil Cowman
commented, "Chad has been amazing over the past three seasons. He
is an extremely talented sprint car driver and has become the 'man to
beat' at every All Star event." Cowman added, "On behalf of
the entire Hoosier organization, I would like to congratulate Chad on
winning his third consecutive title in the All Star Circuit of
Champions. We are proud Chad has achieved this accomplishment while
using the Hoosier brand."
