The 16-year-old driver from Plano, TX led twice during the "Contruct Corps-Palm Beach Grading 250" including the final 13 laps to capture the win in his first-ever series start.

Forty-five cars were on hand looking for a spot in the elite 40-car starting grid. Bobby Santos III, driving for Bill Davis Racing, won the pole after posting a new track record in pre-race qualifying. Santos, driving a Toyota, blistered the 3/4-mile track with a time of 22.070 seconds or 122.338 mph. It was Toyota's first-ever pole in the series. James Buescher started on the outside pole after circling the track in 22.275 seconds in qualifying.

The 253-lap race, ran on Hoosier bias-ply tires, had 19 cautions for a total of 95 laps. The final caution extended the scheduled 250-lap race an additional three laps and resulted in an exciting green-white-checker finish. The race also featured seven leaders among five different drivers including; Bobby Santos III 1-88, 96-123 (116 lap), John Jackson 89-95 (7 laps), Brian Keselowski 124-158 (35 laps), James Buescher 159-179, 241-253 (34 laps) Bryan Clauson.

Following James Buescher to the finish line was rookie Bryan Clauson from Noblesville, IN. Florida's Wayne Anderson finished in third place followed by 19th starting Justin Allgaier and Brian Keselowski in fourth and fifth, respectively.

Frank Kimmel won the Hoosier Tire Hard Charger Award for advancing the most positions. Last year's ARCA Series champion finished in seventh place after starting 25th.

After two events, Frank Kimmel and Justin Allgaier are currently tied for the series points lead with 405 points apiece.
