It was the third consecutive race Hoosier bias-ply tires were used in the series which returns to radial tires for its next four events. Hoosier is the exclusive tire supplier to the ARCA RE/MAX Series.

Coming off his first career win, David Ragan was the Pork Pole Award winner for the second consecutive event. Ragan had the top time among the 41 qualifiers after circling the mile oval in 30.016 seconds or 119.936 mph. The time also set a new track record smashing the old mark of 114.976 mph set by Bob Schacht in 1983.

Forty cars took the green flag in the 150-lap race that featured nine leaders among six different drivers including;  David Ragan (1-11, 47), Joey Miller (12-29), Frank Kimmel (30-46, 71-99, 108-150), Justin Allgaier (48-70), Chad Blount, (100), and Michael Simko (101-107). The race was slowed seven times for 54 laps for various cautions.

At the finish, Frank Kimmel took the win followed by Joey Miller, Chad Blount, Erik Darnell, Bobby Gerhart, Justin Allgaier, T.J. Bell, Mark Gibson, Mike Harmon and Josh Allison in second through tenth, respectively. Thirteen cars finished the race on the lead lap including Jason Jarrett in 11th, Michael Simko and Berlin, Germany's Roland Rehfeld in 12th and 13th place, respectively.

Mark Gibson won the Hoosier Tire Hard Charger Award for advancing the most positions. Gibson started 24th en route to his 8th place finish.

After seven races, Frank Kimmel remains atop the driver standings with 1780 points followed by Joey Miller (1735) and Chad Blount (1650).

TIRES: 11.5/26.0-15 12L (left side) and 11.5/27.0-15 20R (right side) tires. It was the third race in a row this same Hoosier bias-tire combination was used. Milwaukee is one of eight stops the ARCA RE/MAX Series 23-race schedule in which a bias-ply tire is used.

All ARCA Series events are serviced out of Hoosier headquarters in Lakeville, IN. Service for the Milwaukee race was under the direction of ARCA RE/MAX Series Track Service Manager Doug Barnes. Barnes was assisted by Rick Tostevin, Dave Wroblewski, Chad Wright, Larry Merrill, Jacob Hartle, Dan Webb and Mike Haenes.

QUOTE from Hoosier's Doug Barnes: “Using our short track bias-ply tires was the right choice for this track. We saw good temperatures and very good grip. Many competitors commented that these tires 'had a great feel.' The tires performed well during the race and wear was minimal. They also appreciated the lower costs associated with using the bias tires for this event.”

QUOTE from ARCA driver Todd Bowsher: “Hoosier brought the right tire to this track.”

QUOTE from Frank Kimmel's crew chief Bill Kimmel: “We saw almost no wear after 50 laps and these (Hoosier) tires worked great!”

The ARCA RE/MAX Series is back in action this Saturday, June 11, at Pocono Speedway. The race will be carried LIVE on SPEED Channel beginning at 3:00 pm (ET). For complete race results and more information about the ARCA Series, visit their website at www.arcaracing.com.
