LAKEVILLE,
IN -- While most of us were enjoying the long Labor Day holiday
weekend by taking it easy, the ARCA RE/MAX Series competitors were
pulling double-duty racing on asphalt Saturday and then again on
Monday on dirt. Saturday's race at Indiana's Winchester Speedway was
won by defending series champion and current points leader Frank
Kimmel, while Monday's Labor Day race at the Duquoin State Fairgrounds
in Illinois was dominated by defending NASCAR Winston Cup Champion
Tony Stewart. The series has just five events left on its 22-race
schedule before crowning its 2003 champion.
