LAKEVILLE,
IN (January 7) -- ASA Late Model Series officials
announced today that Hoosier Racing Tire has been selected as the
exclusive tire supplier for the series in 2005. Hoosier Racing Tire
will be providing a new line of short track radial tires developed
specifically for the ASA Late Model Series.
Hoosier Racing Tire is the leader in the short track
grassroots racing market with their sole focus on building
high-performance race tires. “We are very excited to be leading the
push in the development of a short track radial tire for late model
cars weighing under 3,000 lbs,” commented Terry Newton, Hoosier’s
Oval Track Asphalt Product Manager.
Ron Varney, President of the ASA Late Model Series, stated, “The ASA

“Currently, Hoosier is working hard to complete the first set of
tires that will be tested in February with further development to
