CITY, AL (March 21-22, 2009) -- Randy Shilling won his first-ever national
event last weekend in the ATV National Motocross Championship at Mill Creek
Raceway. The victory came in the season-opening event for amateurs and came
while riding on Hoosier's new line of ATV MX tires.
The Winona Lake, IN rider finished second in his first Moto and won the
second Moto to claim the overall victory in the 4-stroke A
class.
Shilling captured the win using Hoosier's 20.5x6.0-10 LS MX200 (16600) front and
18.0x10.0-8 (16700) rear tires in the soft MX100 compound.
Hoosier's ATV Product Manager, Neil Cowman, attended the two-day event which
attracted more than 700 riders.
"We couldn't be more pleased with the performance of the new tires. We
are also extremely happy we were able to help Randy get his first national
event win."
The next ATV National Motocross Championship event is the Bluegrass
Nationals, April 4-5, at Bowling Green, KY.
The ATV National Motocross Championship is considered the nation's premier
amateur and professional ATV motocross series.
