LAKEVILLE,
IN -- Members of the Badger Midget Auto Racing Association (BMARA) have once
again voted to renew another 3-year agreement with Hoosier Racing
Tire. The decision was made Tuesday following a meeting with series
members and Hoosier Tire Midwest representative Chad Anderson and
Hoosier Dealer Greg Wilke. The series just completed it's 23-race
season crowning Dave Ray its champion. The Wisconsin-based series
competes mainly at Angell Park in Sun Prairie, but travels
occasionally to other tracks in Iowa and Illinois as well. The Badger
Series was originally formed back in 1935 with competition beginning
in 1936.
According to Hoosier Open Wheel Dirt Product Manager
Neil Cowman, "This is a huge deal for us and to have the members
vote to extend our agreement another three years speaks highly of the
relationship we have built over the years with the association and its
members."
Per terms of the agreement, the series will once again
have a Hoosier right rear "spec" tire. Competitors will run
a 82.0/12.0-13 tire available in two different compounds--SP2 or SP3.
While competitors can run any tire brand on the other three positions,
most elect to run Hoosiers on all four corners.
Hoosier Racing Tire Corp. extends its sincere thanks
and appreciation to the Badger members for renewing the tire agreement
through the 2006 season. To learn more about the Badger Midget Auto
