LAKEVILLE,
IN (April 22, 2011) -- Hoosier Tire is proud to announce a multi-year contract
with the Ferrari Club Racing Association which held its first event April 7-10
at Sebring, FL. This year will be the inaugural year for the new Ferrari club
series which invites challenge owners of models 430C, 360C, 355C, 348C to compete on nationally competitive race tracks
throughout the USA.
Hoosier
road racing product manager, Jeff Speer, commented,
“We are excited to be associated with club president, John Houghtaling
and the Ferrari Club Racing Association on the ground level of this exciting
new series. This is a great racing platform to launch our new 19” radial
slick tires designed specifically for the Ferrari 430."
Speer
added, "Hoosier offers a very competitive GT radial slick tire line for
various vehicles. We are confident the FCRA members will be very satisfied with
both the performance and durability of our race tires. We also look forward to participating in the series for many years to come.”

Houghtaling, President of FCRA, stated, "As president and founder of the
Ferrari Club Racing Association, I am thrilled to have Hoosier as our tire
choice for the 2011 FCRA Championship."
Houghtaling
continued, "Every Ferrari Challenge car will compete together for the
first time this year and all of them will be running Hoosier tires. Hoosier
has gone "four tires in" as a teaming partner with the FCRA to
help us launch this inaugural series."
Houghtaling
added, "Thanks to Hoosier's sponsorship efforts the first race on the
calendar had 42 Ferraris registered for the grid. It's going to be a very
exciting year."

ABOUT
THE FERRARI CLUB RACING ASSOCIATION
The Ferrari Club Racing Association is an association consisting of Ferrari
Challenge drivers.
The mission of the FCRA is to act as the governing body to officiate races
for Ferrari Challenge Drivers of current and previous model Ferrari Challenge
cars including 430C, 360C, 355C, 348C.
The object is to promote and officiate an efficient, safe, and affordable
gentleman racing series.
The FCRA is a self-governing body for the races and run by a board of
directors elected by the members.
The FCRA will not be run to profit any one individual, organization, or
company. The FCRA will raise funds through dues, entry fees, and sponsorships.
The funds will be owned, controlled, and used for the benefit of the members or
a charity selected by the members.
It is the intent of the FCRA to host a minimum of five Challenge races per
year. Drivers in each Challenge class (430, 360, 355 and 348) will compete
for points in a championship.
