LAKEVILLE, IN -- Pennzoil World of Outlaws teams on Hoosier tires continue to dominate
in sprint racing's premier series. Since the season started,
Team-Hoosier has six wins in seven events--finishing 1-2-3 five times.
Looking forward, teams using Hoosier tires compiled an impressive 12-0
record last year at the next four tracks the Outlaws will
visit.
The Outlaws will first travel to Devil's Bowl Speedway in Texas
this Friday. Last year, Danny Lasoski and Craig Dollansky won the
spring races with Shane Stewart and Joey Saldana winning in the fall
for the Hoosier sweep of Devil's Bowl Speedway. The next stop
will be Oklahoma City. Team-Hoosier not only won all four races there
last year, they finished 1-2-3 in every event. In 2001, Craig
Dollansky and Danny Wood each won once while Steve Kinser won twice at
State Fair Speedway on Hoosier tires. Then, it is on to
Houston Raceway Park. In the three events there last season,
Hoosier-shod drivers were perfect in three events when Mark Kinser won
once and Steve Kinser won twice. The fourth stop on the Outlaws
upcoming schedule is Mississippi's Pike County Speedway. In the single
event held there last year, Mark Kinser captured the win on Hoosier
tires. Add the strong 6-1 start in 2002 with the 12-0 record amassed
last season at the next four stops and Team-Hoosier could be poised to
put together another extended winning streak. Currently, the top
three drivers in the Pennzoil World of Outlaws point standings use
Hoosier tires. Steve Kinser (713) is in first place followed by Danny
Lasoski (672) and Mark Kinser (669). In addition to the top three
slots, drivers using Hoosier tires also hold eight of the top ten
positions in the point standings. Hoosier
