TEAM-HOOSIER 12-1
AS OUTLAWS MOVE TO
MISSOURI

3-28-2002

Team-HoosierLAKEVILLE, IN -- Chalk up three more 1-2-3 finishes by Team-Hoosier in Pennzoil World of Outlaws competition. To date, teams using Hoosier tires have amassed a 12-1 record in sprint racing's premier series. At Houston Raceway Park, Hoosier-shod teams finished 1st thru 8th in the preliminary feature. In the finale, they finished 1st thru 7th. Lastly, at Pike County Speedway, Team-Hoosier swept the top six in the feature event.

Encompassed in the 12-1 record, 11 of the 12 wins have actually ended in a 1-2-3 sweep by Hoosier-shod teams.

In the one race Team-Hoosier did not win, they were running first, second and fourth when all three were involved in an accident with just four laps remaining. Team-Hoosier still managed to salvage a 2-3-4 finish.

Hoosier rubber not only has been dominating in the World of Outlaws, they also remain undefeated in Pennsylvania at Lincoln and Williams Grove Speedways after a month of racing.

Hoosier Open Wheel Dirt Product Manager Neil Cowman commented, "Things are really going well right now. Overall, Team-Hoosier is doing better than last year, but we still need two more wins in the World of Outlaws to match last season's 15-1 start."

The Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series will resume racing on Friday, March 29, when they stop in Joplin, MO for a one-night show. Then, it is on to Pevely, MO for another one-night show on Saturday.

Following the Missouri swing, Hoosier World of Outlaws Track Service Manager Todd Seitz will be returning to Hoosier headquarters in Lakeville, IN to re-stock the Hoosier tire trailer for the Southern Bleacher Classic at Texas Motor Speedway.
