LAKEVILLE, IN -- Team-Hoosier went undefeated in April in both the
Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series and the Gumout Series as the senior
circuit heads into Nebraska for a two-day program at Nebraska Raceway
Park. In the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series, the Indiana-based tire
brand compiled a spotless 6-0 record in April at five different tracks
and remains undefeated in the World of Outlaws Gumout Series. In
April, Brad Furr, Craig Dollansky, Danny Lasoski (twice), Mark Kinser
and Steve Kinser each won feature races on Hoosier tires. Team-Hoosier
not only was undefeated in those six events, they finished 1-2-3 in
five of them. The Pennzoil World of Outlaws will kick off the
month of May this Friday and Saturday at Nebraska Raceway Park where
Team-Hoosier was undefeated in 2001. In September of last year, Mark
Kinser won three consecutive nights in the Inaugural Great Plains
Shootout. Kinser won by over a ten second margin the opening
night using a pair of Hoosier D12's. On the second night of racing,
Kinser elected to go with a slightly harder Hoosier D12/D15
combination en route to the win. While on the final night of action,
Kinser went back to a pair of Hoosier D12's to complete the stunning
three night sweep.
Currently, the top seven
drivers in the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series standings use Hoosier tires. |
