LAKEVILLE, IN -- The Hoosier tire brand has been rewarding sprint racers across the
country with an astounding 94% winning clip. With the season approaching the half-way
point, Team-Hoosier has an
amazing 129-8 record. In the Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series, they have amassed a stellar
47-4 mark. In the Gumout Series, it's a perfect 8-0. In the All Star
Sprint Series, teams on Hoosier tires have compiled a 24-4 mark. And
best of all, Hoosier tires are undefeated in 410 competition in
Central Pennsylvania with a sparkling 50-0 record. Team-Hoosier is
coming off five consecutive 1-2-3 finishes in the Pennzoil World of
Outlaws. The purple team's podium sweep has now occurred in 35 of
the 51 races contested in 2002 in sprint racing's premier series. Currently,
drivers using the Hoosier tire brand lay claim to eleven of the top
twelve
positions in the Outlaws standings. Steve Kinser is in
first place followed by defending series champion Danny Lasoski,
Craig Dollansky, Mark Kinser and Joey Saldana in second through fifth
place, respectively. Others using Hoosier tires in the top twelve are:
Donny Schatz, Tim Shaffer, Brad Furr, Randy Hannagan, Danny Wood and
Daryn Pittman. Hoosier
