HONG
KONG -- Last weekend, the Asia Supercar Challenge Series completed its 2005
season with Michael Lee (at right) claiming the overall points championship
while riding on Hoosier tires.
It marked the second year in a row the Hoosier brand was used by the series
champion. Last season, Ray Li won the Overall Class A title in his first year
using Hoosier R3S04 tires. Not only did Li win the championship on Hoosier
tires, but the runner-up and the fifth place finishers also rode on the purple
tire brand.
This season, other drivers recognized the Hoosier brand's decisive
performance advantage and also elected to bolt on Hoosier's new R3S05 tire. The
choice was a good one with the top six drivers in the final point standings
riding on Hoosier racing tires.
