 ELKHART,
LAKE, WI (June 20-22) -- Last weekend marked the annual running of the
June Sprints, the largest SCCA national event of the regular season.
The annual competition is contested at Road America's 4.048-mile road
course where the Hoosier brand dominated the racing action.
Once again, drivers
on Hoosier tires dominated the event in the 23 SCCA National classes
contended on "open competition" tires. Team-Hoosier racked
up 12 poles, 11 wins, 12 seconds, and 15 thirds. When all was settled,
there were 38 Hoosier drivers on the podium, more than doubling the
number of podium appearances by drivers on all other tire brands combined.

event was exceptionally serviced by Frisby Performance Tire's Bob
Shaffer and Mike Frisby and their able-bodied crew of hard working
mounting and balancing professionals. Frisby Performance Tire is based

Hoosier Road Racing Product Manager Bruce Foss
attended the event bringing nearly 20 years of racing experience to
assist the many members of Team-Hoosier. Foss also provided the images
and details for this report. Hoosier Engineer Gary Freymiller also
attended the annual event.
