IN (Aug. 11, 2008)
- Andy Lally in the No. 41, Porsche 997, withstood several challenges from
Craig Stanton late in the Casey's General Stores KONI Challenge race in
Grand-Am KONI Challenge Series Grand Sport (GS) competition Sunday to give
himself and co-driver/polesitter, Scott Schroeder, and the Carlsen Porsche /
Cohen Financial team their first victory of the season.
In
the one hundred and fifty-seven lap race, Lally led three times for 61 laps,
including the final 11, and held off a hard-charging Craig Stanton, on the 1.3

Stanton and the No. 83 BGB Motorsports Performance Drink Porsche 997 team, so
far this season.
