LAKEVILLE,
IN (January 21) -- If you guessed "d", you'd be correct.
This past Saturday, Max Dumesny captured a record-setting fifth
Australian World Series SprintCar championship. Max, who began sprint
car racing in 1982, won six times in the 14 nights of racing that
comprised this year's series. When he's not racing, Max owns and
operates M.D. Motorsport and Hoosier Tire Australia which is the
exclusive Hoosier Distributorship in Australia. The quiet and
unassuming Australian and his wife Melinda also stay busy with
their four children--Mitchell, Michaela, Mathew and Marcus.
In addition to being a husband, father and
champion-caliber racer, Max is also a successful businessman operating
Hoosier Tire Australia and M.D. Motorsport which manufactures and
supplies racing products to the Australian motorsport industry. With
one of the most successful sprintcar drivers Australia has ever
produced--Max Dumesny at the helm, their business operations have
grown to include six full-time and two part-time staff members in the
Sydney and Melbourne offices.
Max (the racer) and M.D. Motorsport also have their
own websites where racing products can be purchased and Max's racing
career is chronicled. M.D. Motorsport's website is located at http://www.mdmotorsport.com.au,
while Max's personal website is located at http://www.maxdumesny.com.
