LEXINGTON, OH (August 26) -- Earlier this year, the SCCA Central Division National schedule took us to the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. At that event, drivers that chose Hoosier tires to compete on dominated the event, capturing 13 class wins.

Last weekend was the second national event of the season contested at Mid-Ohio. And once again, drivers competing on the USA-made Hoosier tire brand dominated the event.  Team Hoosier produced 12 wins out of a possible 23, with the remaining 11 class wins divided among five of the seven other competing tire manufacturers. 

This strong performance, along with the earlier national event at Mid-Ohio in which Hoosier captured more class wins than any other tire manufacturer, would indicate a "purple" trend is definitely developing heading into the Valvoline Runoffs next month at Mid-Ohio.
