 LAKE
VILLAGE, IN (May, 2010) – Brothers Taylor and Casey Moore of
Lake Village, IN have been busy lately collecting wins at their local dirt
track.
The team competes regularly in the
Briggs Heavy class and both drivers have seen success with Hoosier’s new
dirt kart slicks.
Casey gave the Moore Motorsports team
their first feature win for 2010 by edging out his older brother Taylor on May
9th. He also earned bragging rights for the week.
The following weekend, Taylor wasted no
time in taking back the top spot from Casey by winning the Briggs Heavy
feature.
The Moore Motorsports team not only
ended up 1st and 2nd two weeks in a row, but they also posted a team best
11.25 second lap time. This was the fastest time the team has ever recorded at
Lake Village Motor Speedway.
The team’s success all happened while
riding on Hoosiers new D60A compound tires that were released in mid April of
this year.
The Moore brothers are not the only ones making a habit of finishing up front.
 Frankie
Lara also has a nice collection of wins at Lake Village in the Sportsman
1 (purple plate) division.
The Hebron, IN native has won every race
this year in the Sportsman 1 class. Frankie grabbed his last two wins while
riding on Hoosiers new D40A dirt kart slicks.
The youngster had a record setting
weekend May 22nd when he broke the track record in Sportsman 1 while winning
both his heat and feature races.
In fact, the top three karts in the
Sportsman 1 feature were all riding on Hoosier D40A’s. Frankie’s track
record run of 13.46 snapped the previous record that was held for almost three
years.
