Cywinski, who started sixth in the field, collected $6,100 for the win on the 3/8-mile oval.

George battled defending series champion Mike Stefanik until the checkered flag fell in the Service Electric 100. The margin of victory was a scant .069 seconds over the hard charging Stefanik. George started the event in 13th and was one of only a handful of drivers opting to run the entire 100 laps without stopping for fuel or tires. The gamble paid off and George collected the $10,050 win.

After the win, George commented, "I'm not sure this has hit me yet. We were a little loose but ran the whole race without pitting. After the spin there was some concern about flat spotted tires but the car was working great."

Finishing in second place was Mike Stefanik, followed by Tony Hirschman, Robbie Summers and Eddie Flemke. Twenty-three of the 40-car field finished the race on the lead lap. The event drew over 50 cars attempting to gain entry into the 40-car field.

Mike Stefanik leads the series points chase with 607 points followed closely by Robbie Summers with 602 points. Rick Fuller, Todd Szegedy and Jerry Marquis round out the top five.

The next event for the NASCAR Featherlite Modified Series is this Friday, May 24, at Stafford Motor Speedway.
