FULTZ, HART & HOFFMAN WINNERS

(Photo courtesy of Steve Benesh)LAKEVILLE, IN -- Three of the five NASCAR divisions that Hoosier exclusively provides tires for were in action this past week. Last Wednesday, Jeff Fultz captured his third NASCAR Kodak Southeast Series win of the season winning the Victory Junction 150, at Florida's Ocala Speedway. In the NASCAR Raybestos Brakes Northwest Series, Chris Hart became the sixth different winner in seven events contested to date after the Yakima, WA driver led every lap of the Keglers' 125, at Wenatchee Valley's Super Oval. While in the NASCAR International Truck & Engine Midwest Series, Eddie Hoffman (right) won his third race of the season capturing the July Spectacular 150, at Minnesota's I-94 Raceway. With the win, Hoffman closes to within six points of Ron Breese, Jr. in the driver standings. 

NASCAR KODAK SOUTHEAST SERIES
OCALA, FL (July 2) -- A 21-car field took the green flag Wednesday evening in Ocala, FL in the Victory Junction 150, at Ocala Speedway's 3/8-mile oval. Seventh starting Jeff Fultz took the lead from David Reutimann on lap 83 and never looked back in picking up his second win in a row and third overall this season. In the six races contested to date, Fultz is the only repeat winner. With the win, Fultz pocketed $4,600. 

Finishing in second place was Justin Wakefield followed by Cecil Chun, Charlie Bradberry and Terry Mason, Jr.

Charlie Bradberry continues to lead the series standings with 904 points followed by Jeff Fultz with 869 points. The next race on the Southeast Series schedule is July 12th, at Alabama's Huntsville Speedway.

NASCAR RAYBESTOS BRAKES NORTHWEST SERIES
WENATCHEE, WA (July 5) -- Twenty-two cars started the Keglers' 125 at Washington's Wenatchee Valley's Super Oval. Chris Hart of Yakima, WA took the win leading every lap of the race en route to picking up his first win of the season. Hart collected $2,300 for the win. Gary Lewis finished in second place followed by Jeff Jefferson, Garrett Evans and Bill Lawrence. The tight 1/4-mile oval led to nine cautions for a total of 49 laps.

Chris Hart continues to lead the series standings with 1108 points followed by Jeff Jefferson with 1063 points. Jason Jefferson (1046) and Gary Lewis (1024) are third and fourth, respectively. The top three drivers have also eclipsed the $10,000 mark in season earnings with the season half over. The season in the Northwest Series has produced six different winners in seven events thus far.

The series will next compete at Monroe, Washington's Evergreen Speedway this Saturday, July 12.

NASCAR INTERNATIONAL TRUCK & ENGINE CORPORATION MIDWEST SERIES
SUAK CENTRE, MN (July 5) -- Eddie Hoffman defeated 23 other drivers Saturday evening at I-94 Raceway. In a race that featured five different race leaders, Hoffman took the lead on lap 105 of the 150-lap contest en route to the win. For the victory, the 12th starting Hoffman collected $3,950. Following Hoffman to the finish line were Brian Hoppe, Jon Lemke, Tim Schendel and Jeremy Lepak. Schendel charged from eighteenth to finish in fourth place.

It was Hoffman's third win of the season in seven events contested to date. Despite the three wins, Hoffman still trails Ron Breese, Jr. by six points in the driver standings, while Steve Carlson lurks just 44 points out of first. Brian Hoppe and Tim Schendel round out the top five in the standings. Both Hoffman and Carlson have won over $20,000 competing in the series this year, while points leader Breese has earned over $19,000.

The series next travels to Gateway International Raceway in Madison, IL to race on July 18th.
