LAKEVILLE,
IN (July 13) -- Three of four NASCAR Touring Divisions that Hoosier
exclusively supplies tires were in action on Saturday. In the
NASCAR Featherlite Modified Series, Dave Berghman captured his second
race of the season and collected $7,750 for the win at Beech Ridge
Motor Speedway in Scarborough, ME. Also capturing his second win of
the season was Brian Hoppe in the NASCAR RE/MAX Challenge Series.
Hoppe won at Dells Motor Speedway in Wisconsin and collected $5,550.
In the NASCAR All Pro Series, Jeff Fultz posted his first win of the
season in the series at Myrtle Beach Speedway. The win was worth
$9,075.

NASCAR FEATHERLITE MODIFIED SERIES
|
|
SCARBOROUGH,
ME (July 13) -- Thirty cars took the green flag in Saturday's NASCAR
Featherlite Modified Series race with Todd Szegedy taking the lead at
the outset from his outside pole position. Szegedy led the first 34
laps before giving way to pole-sitter Fred Vordermeier. Vordermeier led
until lap 116, when ninth starting Dave Berghman took over at the
point. Berghman led the remainder of the distance to capture the win
and collect the $7,750 top prize. Finishing in second place was
Vordermeier followed by John Blewett, III in third. Rounding out the
top five was rookie Todd Szegedy in fourth and 15th starter Rick Fuller
in fifth. Amazingly, 18 of the 30 race starters finished the race on
the lead lap.
Jerry Marquis finished in ninth place and retains the
series points lead with 1338 points followed by Mike Stefanik with
1322 points. Stefanik finished the race in eighth.
The series resumes this Friday, July 19, at New
Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon New Hampshire.

NASCAR RE/MAX CHALLENGE SERIES
|
|
WISCONSIN
DELLS, WI (July 13) -- Brian Hoppe, the 1999 NASCAR RE/MAX Champion
and last year's runner-up in the series points chase, captured the
Welcome Back 200 at Dells Motor Speedway. Hoppe led all 200 laps in
collecting his second win of the season. Hoppe, who hails from Madison
Wisconsin, collected $5,550 for the win. The race had 24 starters and
had just three cautions for a total of 31 laps. Finishing in second
place was current points leader and defending series champion Steve
Carlson. Carlson earned $3,375 for his runner-up finish.
Steve Carlson remains atop the NASCAR RE/MAX Challenge
Series standings with 1191 points. Carlson is followed by Brian Hoppe
with 1144 points. Eddie Hoffman commands the third position in the
standings with 1063 markers.
The series resume action this Saturday, July 20, at
Gateway International Raceway in Madison, IL.

NASCAR ALL PRO SERIES
|

MYRTLE
BEACH, SC (July 13) -- Jeff Fultz came from 13th to capture the win in
the NASCAR All Pro Series Hills Bros. 250 at Myrtle Beach Speedway on
Saturday. Fultz collected $9,075 for the win. Finishing in second
place was outside pole-sitter David Reutimann who earned $4,330 for
the runner-up finish. Kevin Prince rounded out the top three after
starting 16th in the field. Six of the 30 race starters finished the
race on the lead lap. Billy Bigley, Jr., Jason Hogan and Charlie
Bradberry completed the list of lead-lap finishers.
Charlie Bradberry currently leads the NASCAR All Pro
Series standings with 1111 points. Jeff Fultz remains in second place
with 1094 points. David Reutimann is in third with 1048 markers, while
Billy Bigley, Jr. is just two points behind with 1046 points.
The NASCAR All Pro Series will resume action this
Friday, July 19, at Nashville Superspeedway USA in Nashville TN.
