LAKEVILLE,
IN (September 18) -- John Seitz, of Bemidji, MN, won the 2003 Northern
Late Model Racing Association (NLRA) Tour Championship. John captured
victories in six of
the 19 shows completed this season in the series. For Seitz (photo), it was
his second title having won the crown in 2001. The NLRA Tour races
under WISSOTA rules which utilize a Hoosier "tire-rule" to
minimize the cost of racing for all its competitors. The NLRA, which
is based in Grand Forks, North Dakota, began organized competition in
1998 and races in Minnesota, North Dakota and Southern Manitoba. Brad
Seng is the President of the NLRA and was also the 2002 series
champion. For more information about the Northern Late Model Racing
