LAKEVILLE,
IN -- The Team Hoosier scorecard remained perfect after yet another
weekend of racing on several dirt tracks in Central Pennsylvania this
week. On Sunday, Greg Hodnett (photo) continued his winning ways at
Williams Grove winning the 25-lap feature--his fourth in five race
this year. Hodnett used a surprising RD15/F55 combination to capture
the win as the track began to take rubber. In the 305 c.i. Sprint Car
feature at Williams Grove, Joey Hershey took the win using a
105/18.0-15 D15 right rear tire. Port Royal Speedway had their season
opener on Saturday with Mark Smith winning on a pair of Hoosier
RD12's. Selinsgrove Speedway had a special event 410 sprint race with
Darren Eash taking the win using a Hoosier RD12/D12 rear drive
combination. At Lincoln Speedway which uses a Hoosier right rear
tire-rule, Lance Dewease took the win becoming that track's sixth
different winner in six races to start the 2004 campaign at the
historic 4/10-mile track. Team Hoosier is now 7-0 in Central PA at
tracks with 410 open tire-rule venues. Our thanks go out to Hoosier
Tire Mid-Atlantic's Randy Glover for providing the details for this
report.
