HOOSIER COMPLETES PERFECT 90-0 SEASON
IN 410 SPRINT COMPETITION IN CENTRAL PA |

IN -- For the first time ever, one tire company won every 410 race
held at Williams Grove Speedway, Lincoln Speedway and Port Royal
Speedway. Hoosier Racing Tire Corp. amassed a perfect 90-0 record at
those three tracks and several others in which special 410 features
were run in 2002. When this past weekend came to an end, Greg Hodnett
and Chad Layton each won feature races which sealed the undefeated
season for Team-Hoosier.
Hoosier Open Wheel Dirt Product Manager Neil Cowman commented on
the 90-0 record, "I never could have dreamed that Hoosier tires
would dominate an entire season as we did this year." Cowman
concluded, "The credit really goes out to all the great teams
using our product this year. Without their feedback about the tires
and their dedication to winning this would never have been
possible."
Special thanks also go out to Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic and Bobby
Wirts for their tireless work, week in and out, at the tracks and for
his reporting the tire compounds used throughout the season. |
