 JUPITER,
FL (January 16) -- Ken Payson, of Sun City Center, FL and Worcester,
MA, driving the Hoosier-shod Honda Civic si won his 100th SCCA
National race on Sunday at Moroso Motorsports Park finishing a full
lap ahead of the 2nd place finisher. Payson started road racing in the spring of 1979 and won his first
National race in 1981 on the 4th-of-July at Lime Rock Park, CT. He
also won the Runoffs at Road Atlanta in 1982. Payson has also finished 2nd
four times and 3rd three times at various other Runoffs. In 2005, he will campaign the Honda Civic in
SSC and a Mazda Protege in E Production using Hoosier tires. Hoosier
Racing Tire Corp. congratulates Ken on this monumental achievement.
