HOOSIER INTRODUCES
NEW R50 SUPER KART TIRES & C02 CONSTRUCTION

LAKEVILLE, IN (February 26, 2008) -- Hoosier is proud to introduce the R50 compound for Super Karts that will replace the current R55. This compound is designed to have better wear characteristics while maintaining the same grip level as the R55. The R50 will have a cold durometer between 68-70 and will have increased tread gauge on both the front and rear tires. The tread gauge has been changed from .120" F/R to .185" on the fronts and .175" on the rears.

The R50 will also have a new C02 construction, which is designed to improve handling and drivability. The tires should be available by March 10, 2008.
