 LAKEVILLE,
IN -- Hoosier Racing Tire announces the long awaited release
for those hard to find vintage applications. The initial sizes will
accommodate the Porsche 356, Alfa Romeo, and Triumph fitments that
have been so long neglected.
This tire will be
available in 185/65R15, 205/60R15, and 225/50R15 sizes beginning in
March 2006. The construction for this radial tire was developed from
the very successful Grand American Cup program. It is designed to give
good driver feedback for control, very positive response for
performance and high endurance for longer life.
The tread pattern is
intended to give the tire a “vintage” look but at the same time
provide modern tire performance under a variety of conditions. It is a
DOT approved design to be compatible with the various vintage racing
sanctioning groups.
