2004 OPEN COMPETITION
DIRT LATE MODEL TIRE CHANGES

|
After extensive tire testing this past fall, we
are finally ready to place the first brick in the renovation of our
open competition line. Although the following changes are just the
beginning, we expect these new tires to have an immediate impact on
performance. Racers can expect increased sidebite from the change made
to the right rear. We have also moved all right rear production to the
Checkerboard mold to reduce grooving time. The C2000 designation will
help you identify the new tires from any existing inventory.

Also for 2004, we are introducing a new D55.
There was a definite need for a new D55 to challenge our competition
in the Mississippi D55/MD56 tire rule. We also needed a new product
for long races where there is low track temperature. Therefore, we
developed the new *D55* tire. All *D55* tires have new constructions
and compounds better matched to the conditions where they will be
utilized.
