LAKEVILLE, IN -- Development continues on the next generation D.O.T.
approved competition tires for road racing and autocross applications.
There has been some public anticipation that the “next generation”
Hoosiers were going to be available very soon. This update is intended
to clarify the current status of our development process.
While
the program is progressing, our timetable is not going to accommodate
the April 30, 2003 minimum requirement deadline set forth by SCCA Solo
rules. Our intention is to release the most popular sizes first and
release other size tires as production and inventory allows. This plan
will be executed sometime mid summer and will continue into the fall
months with the whole product line change completed, hopefully, by
October.
