IN (July 25, 2005) -- Hoosier Racing Tire is proud to announce
the arrival of the new Road Racing competition radial, the R3S05. The
main difference in the new tire is the tread profile. We have changed
the shape of the tire to improve shoulder wear, especially for camber
challenged race cars. No tread compound or sidewall construction
has been changed and therefore the car setup should be the same as the
R3S04 model. In our testing, we have found running slightly lower air
pressures than previously recommended for the R3S04 model, have
improved performance. Competitors will notice the improved wear
characteristic of the R3S05. Every R3S04 size model will be offered in
the new R3S05. Please
