LAKEVILLE,
IN -- Minicup racers of the world have spoken and Hoosier Racing
Tire Corp. was listening. After years of market research, Hoosier
Racing Tire Corp. is proud to announce they are offering minicup
racers a tire that is sure to be a winner. Hoosier has designed and
developed its own unique, one-of-a-kind, equipment to produce its
first-ever 8" bead diameter tires. Combined with the same technology
that produces tires traveling at speeds in excess of 200 mph--Hoosier
is proud to announce the new 15.0/7.0-8 tire that is sure to be the
hot topic around the pits at minicup events.
These tires have
been vigorously tested in the laboratory and ultimately on the track
with amazing results. No longer will the minicup racers be subjected
to high priced, out-of-round, fast wearing tires with slow lap times. Now, these
racers will have option to compete using "Tires Designed For
Champions."
In track testing, these tires were proven to result
in faster lap times than the other tire brand's offering yet
provides better tread wear with cooler operating temperatures. That's
right, an almost unheard of combination of faster lap times and better
tread wear. The tires will also be measured at the factory and sold
with "chalk marks" to enable the minicup competitor to have
an edge when selecting their tires. The new Hoosier minicup tires
have a suggested retail price of $60.00 and can be purchased from your
nearest Hoosier Distributor. Tires will be available October 13, 2003.
The suggested starting (cold) pressures for the
minicup tires is 25 psi on the right side tires and 15 psi (cold) on
the left side tires.
