IN (Wednesday August 26, 2009)- We are pleased to announce Hoosier Racing Tire
will continue to be Fremont Speedway and Attica Raceway Park’s tire of
choice for their weekly 410 and 305 sprint classes on the Right Rear wheel
position, as well as adding Hoosier as their exclusive tire for Left Rear
wheel positions through the 2012 racing season.
Both tracks have run the Hoosier SC Right Rear exclusively since 2007. By
specifying Hoosier on the Left Rear as well, this allows the Right Rear and
Left Rear to work as a package that can balance the cars better with the goal
of better maneuverability on the track. Details of the exact tire package to
be used will be forthcoming soon.
Rich Farmer, Co-Promoter at Fremont Speedway said, ”We took a close look at
what all the racing tire manufacturers were offering as far as a spec tire,
including American Race Tire, Goodyear, and Hoosier Tire. When we compared
everything, Hoosier offered the best package for our race teams and the
tracks. We were able to maintain the cost of the right rear tires for our
teams and lower the cost of the left rear tire. Keeping the tire costs down
for our teams was a major goal for us.”
Farmer went on to say,”Hoosier Tire has made the commitment to construct a
tire that will help make the racing more entertaining for our fans as well.”
2010 pricing has already been agreed upon. Right Rear tires will carry an MSRP
of $195.00 and Left Rears will carry an MSRP of $175.00. Pricing does not
include taxes or fees. This pricing reflects no change compared to the current
Right Rear MSRP, and a $25 per tire reduction from the current open
competition Left Rear MSRP being utilized in the marketplace today.
Atttica’s John Bores had this to add “We are pleased to continue our
relationship with Hoosier Tire. Our racing has been unbelievable and Hoosier
has played a big part in that. Hoosier Tire has provided excellent service at
a very reasonable price for the race teams.”
