Logan Zampa won two classes at the Scotty Key Memorial event in California on Hoosiers!

VALLEJO, CA (February 16-17, 2008) -- Team Hoosier picked up four wins in the 2008 Scotty Key Memorial event at the Solano County Fairgrounds earlier this month. Logan Zampa (right) won both the Jr. Honda and Jr. Stock classes, while Emma Tucker won in Sr. Honda and Reid Shaw in the Lt. 160 class. The 2-day event began with 18 of the 109 entries competing on the Hoosier brand. By Sunday, that number had grown to 27 after many teams saw the Hoosier brand was superior in several classes.

Anthony Astone, from Hoosier Tire West, provided sales and service for the event which featured 13 different classes in competition.

Astone commented, "After two days, I believe the majority of competitors were convinced the Hoosier brand was superior under these race conditions. Most teams were running the D20A tires with many switching to the D30 for the longer runs."

Astone added, "I never saw the Hoosier compounds give up over the long runs and 'fired' faster than the competition."

Emma Tucker took the checkered flag on Hoosiers in the Sr. Honda class.
