YAKIMA, WA (April 28-29, 2007) -- Quarter Midgets of America's Region 9, which consists of Idaho, Oregon, Washington and British Columbia held their first regional race at Racing Rascals QMA in Yakima, WA. There were 133 cars on hand with each driver hoping to start out the season on a good note. 

Six-year-old Isaac Abenroth, driving in both the Jr. Honda and Jr. Stock classes, was the only driver sporting Hoosier's new A30A tires. Isaac finished 2nd in his Frontier Chevrolet Jr. Stocker heat race and had a respectable performance in the A-Main. Isaac was leading the entire race until he spun out and had to start at the rear of the field. Young Ike's determination led him back through the field in a handful of laps to capture a 4th place finish.

In his Meridian Center Electric Jr. Honda car, Isaac started 3rd in the A-Main. As the green flag waved, he immediately took the lead on the second lap. Isaac pulled away from the second place runner and started lapping traffic. He went on to win the Jr. Honda A-Main and was the only car on Hoosier's new A30A compound. Isaac's winning combination was:

XENIA, OH (April 21, 2007) -- In QMA's Region 4, Miami Valley QMRA was hosting their first weekly points race on April 21st. Justin Peck, a native from the Indianapolis area, competed in the Jr. Honda class on Hoosier's new A40A compound. Justin had a clean sweep winning both his heat and feature by a considerable margin. 

A week later, Justin picked up where he left off by winning his Jr. Honda heat race on the same A40A's. Rain, however, would shorten the weekend for all the competitors. Justin's dad, Steve, commented that the tires had great wear and consistency. Justin's winning combination was: 

15301 A40A – 33.0/4.5-6 RF
15600 A40A – 34.5-6.0-6 RR 

Justin's success on Hoosiers stretches as far back as the Columbus Indoor season where he won three consecutive Jr. Honda features with two races won back-to-back on the same set of A40A's and one race won on A30A tires. 
 

HONEYBROOK, PA (April 29, 2007) -- In QMA's Region 2, Doylestown QMRC kicked off their third points race of the season with 87 cars on hand. Matt Tobey (photo) and Chris Torgalski competed in the Jr. Honda and Heavy 160 classes, respectively. They were the only Hoosier-shod drivers on hand with Hoosier's new A30A compound tires. The decision to go with the newly developed Hoosier tires proved quite rewarding. 

On Sunday, Matt started on the outside pole of the Jr. Honda A-Main race. As many QM racers know, starting on the outside row can be frustrating while battling for a spot in the inside row. With this in the back of his mind, Matt was still able to drive the A30A's with confidence and go on to win his first Jr. Honda A-main race. Matt’s winning combination included: 

15151 A30 – 31.0/4.5-5 LF
15171 A30 – 32.0/4.5-5 LR
15301 A30A – 33.0/4.5-6 RF
15600 A30A – 34.5/6.0-6 RR 

Chris Torgalski, after finding success a week prior at Doylestown on the Hoosier A30A, decided he would try to make it two-for-two in the Heavy 160 class. Chris started in last place in the ten-car field and was able to pull to 3rd place by the end of the third lap. He continued to move through the field and went on to win the Heavy 160 class for the second consecutive week. Chris's winning combination included: 

15301 A30A – 33.0/4.5-6
15600 A30A – 34.5/6.0-6
