ORRVILLE,
OH (June 26, 2005) -- Brian Ruhlman captured Sunday's $3,000-to-win feature
race at Wayne County Speedway using a pair of Hoosier discontinued late model
tires. The win was part of the three-race Triple Thunder Sizzler Series at the
speedway. Ruhlman is a multi-time champion late model driver with many trophies
from Eldora Speedway, Oakshade Raceway and ALMS to his credit.
Bart Hartman was fast qualifier around the 3/8-mile dirt oval circling the
track in 18.747 seconds. Hartman used a pair of Hoosier 1350's (11.0/90.0-15 LR
& 11.0/92.0-15 RR) to accomplish the feat. Hartman's time was nearly
4/10ths of a second faster than his next closest competitor. Hartman and Steve
Casebolt each won a heat race using the Hoosier brand.
In the feature race, Brian Ruhlman led wire-to-wire to collect the top
prize. The Clarklake, MI driver used a Hoosier 28.5/11.0-15 *D55* left rear and
a 29.0/11.0-15 C2000 D55 right rear tire to capture the win. As of this
writing, both tires are currently available for sale on the Hoosier website

Other drivers competing in the feature race on Hoosier tires included; Bart
Hartman (5th), Mark Banal (6th), D.J. Cline (7th), Wayne Maffett, Jr. (9th),
George Lee (10th), Charlie Duncan (12th), Jay Helton (14th), John Sizemore
(17th) and Steve Casebolt (18th).
