 LAKEVILLE,
IN (June 13) -- Hoosier Racing Tire Corp. announced today the
appointment of a permanent replacement for their oval track dirt
product manager position. Shanon Rush, an eight-year employee of the
company, will assume all duties associated with Hoosier's
industry-leading oval track dirt product lines including late model
dirt, modified dirt, and entry-level DOT dirt.
"We
have placed Shanon in several challenging positions with our company
and he has responded well." Says Dennis Sherman, Hoosier V.P. of
Marketing. "He has learned the Hoosier system from the ground up,
and should be a great addition to this program. It will take time, but
we believe this product team will continue to strengthen and grow our
oval track dirt business."
Hoosier
Racing Tire utilizes a three-tier personnel system to support each of
its product lines. Engineers, Product Managers, and affiliated
distributors all contribute to the products seen at the track. Each
brings a unique perspective to the program, and is a key factor in the
company's success.
Shanon Rush started
his tenure with Hoosier Racing Tire in August of 1995 after graduating
from North Central College in Naperville, IL with a Broadcast
Communication Degree. In his early career, he worked in the shipping
department while continuing to pursue auto race broadcasting
opportunities.
Rush switched his
focus strictly to Hoosier in 1997 and the South Bend, IN native was
assigned to numerous positions in the following six years including
factory support administrator, Micro-Sprint/ATV Product Manager, and
Sales Manager for Hoosier's former passenger car division--Hoosier Performance
Tire.
