TOPEKA,
KS (September 10-13) -- Over 1,150 Solo II competitors flocked to the Topeka Air Industrial Park, also known as Forbes Field,
for this year's Solo II National Championships with over 800 choosing to run
the Hoosier brand. After the first two days of competition, Team-Hoosier claimed
21
classes. In the final two days of action, Hoosier tires were on 26
national champion cars, for a total of 47 Solo II national
championships--the same total
as last year. The 47 class wins was more than all other tire
manufacturers combined. Among the 47 Hoosier-shod
National Champions were also 14 repeat winners. Hoosier Racing Tire congratulates all competitors who have chosen to use the most
successful and sought after race tires in the world.
