COMPOUND APPLICATIONS:

Cool or Soft track conditions on small, paperclip shaped tracks:
D10A is designed for a soft, wet, tacky track condition.
D20A is slightly tougher than the D10A and works well on crumbs or marbled tracks.
D30A is slightly tougher than the D20A and is designed for loose conditions or surfaces that clean off and become dry-slick.

Harder track conditions on large, sweeping track:
RD35 is designed for a dusty or loose track surface that lacks grip.
D55 is designed for a medium hard track surface that begins to form a groove.

SET-UP INFORMATION:

The 11.0x8.1-6 tires will measure approximately 34" on a 10" wide wheel with 8 psi.
The 11.0x6.0-6 will measure approximately 33" on an 8.5" wide wheel with 6 psi.
The 10.5x4.5-6 will measure approximately 32.5" on a 6.5" wide wheel with 6 psi.
Recommended starting pressure is contingent upon track conditions and compound selection. Starting pressure could be in the range of 5-8 psi on the left side and 7-10 psi on the right side.
The left side dirt kart slicks will have approximately .085" tread depth.
The right side D10A, D20A and D30A dirt kart slicks will have approximately .110" tread depth.
The right side RD35 and D55 dirt kart slicks will have approximately .065" tread depth.
All of our dirt kart slicks have been designed with the appropriate amount of tread depth for optimum performance under different track conditions. Hoosier dirt kart slicks should not be "cut" to reduce the tread depth on a tire.

DIRECTION OF ROTATION/ MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS:

Mount the tire onto the rim with the white "HOOSIER" logo facing toward the outside of the kart. Once the tire is on the rim, we recommend placing the tire inside a mounting ring and adjusting the ring to fit snug around the tire. We highly advise using the mounting ring as we believe not using it can over stretch the carcass leading to inconsistent sizing. Once the tire has seated onto the rim, it is important the tire be initially stretched to about 10 psi over cold starting pressure to get the tire to its proper "profile". The tire should be set at this pressure for a few minutes and then dropped to the desired race pressure. Just be consistent in this procedure to get repeatable results. The dirt oval kart slicks can be flipped or reversed on the wheel to provide even wear.
