IN (November 5, 2012) -- We are very pleased to announce the World of Outlaws
Sprint Car Series and Hoosier have entered into an agreement that will see the
return of Hoosier tires to the historic traveling sprint car series.
The 5-year deal was announced Friday prior to
the season-ending World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The
announcement marks the return of Hoosier tires to the World of Outlaws Sprint
Car Series after a three year absence. "A
lot of people have worked extremely hard to make this situation a reality and
we are very pleased to be returning to the World of Outlaws as the official
tire of the series," said Hoosier's Neil Cowman. Cowman
reflected, "This deal would have made Bob
Newton very happy, but he would have quickly reminded us all to 'roll up
your sleeves and get to work!'" Hoosier
