Greg Hodnett won both nights at North Carolina's Lowe's Motor Speedway to begin the weekend, while Steve Kinser won the single-night event at Lebanon Valley Speedway in New York. The three victories extended Team-Hoosier's Pennzoil World of Outlaws record to 28 wins in 31 races.

LOWE'S MOTOR SPEEDWAY - PRELIMINARY
CONCORD, NC (May 24) -- Greg Hodnett captured the 25-lap win in the opener at Lowe's Motor Speedway on Friday night. The former series regular collected the win and the $5,000 winner's purse for his first Outlaw win of the season.

The 30-car field was comprised of 22 cars on Hoosier rubber with the remaining eight cars split equally among the two other competing tire brands.

The six fastest times in qualifying were posted by Hoosier-shod drivers. Joey Saldana was fast qualifier at 12.609 seconds followed by Danny Lasoski, Steve Kinser, Danny Wood, Daryn Pittman and Donny Schatz in second through sixth, respectively.

All three preliminary heat races resulted in Team-Hoosier wins. Tim Shaffer, Greg Hodnett and Mark Kinser each won their respective 8-lap heat races.

Greg Hodnett won the first dash which earned him the right to start from the pole in the 25-lap feature. Brad Furr also captured the win in the B-feature on Hoosier tires.

In the 25-lap feature, Greg Hodnett took the early race lead as the green flag dropped. Hodnett relinquished the lead briefly only to regain it for good on lap 20 en route to the win. Steve Kinser finished runner-up for the 25th 1-2 finish of the season for Team-Hoosier. Kinser was using a pair of Hoosier D15's while Hodnett was using a Hoosier test tire on his right rear.

Eight of the first nine drivers to cross the finish line were using the Hoosier brand. Shane Stewart finished in fourth place, followed by Craig Dollansky, Mark Kinser, Danny Lasoski, Tyler Walker, and Joey Saldana in fifth through ninth, respectively.

LOWE'S MOTOR SPEEDWAY - FINALE
CONCORD, NC (May 25) -- Greg Hodnett earned his first career sweep in Pennzoil World of Outlaws competition after winning the finale at Lowe's Motor Speedway on Saturday night. After winning Friday's $5,000 preliminary, Hodnett came from behind for the second consecutive night en route to capturing the win and the sweep. Saturday's victory was worth $20,000 to the driver of the Apple Motorsports #12.

With Friday's top four finishers receiving a pass into Saturday's A-feature, that left 25 cars to post times in qualifying--19 of them on Hoosier tires. Danny Lasoski was fast qualifier at 13.667 seconds followed by Craig Dollansky and Tyler Walker, as the top 12 times in qualifying were posted by drivers riding on Hoosier tires.

For the second consecutive night, all three preliminary heat races were won by drivers on the Hoosier brand when Danny Wood, Mark Kinser and Brad Furr each won their respective heat races.

The single dash race resulted in a 1-2-3 Team-Hoosier finish. Steve Kinser took the win followed by Greg Hodnett and Shane Stewart. The finish would also be where the three drivers would start the night's 30-lap feature.

In the A-feature, Greg Hodnett got the jump from his outside pole position to lead the first three circuits. Steve Kinser also led the race's middle stages before Hodnett regained the lead for good on lap 25, en route to the win. Hodnett was using a D15/D20 set-up for the $20,000 victory.

All told, 12 of the top 13 drivers to cross the finish line in the feature were riding on the Hoosier brand. Donny Schatz, Steve Kinser, Shane Stewart, Craig Dollansky, Joey Saldana, Tyler Walker, Danny Lasoski, Danny Wood, Mark Kinser, Daryn Pittman and Tim Shaffer finished third through 13th for Team-Hoosier.

LEBANON VALLEY SPEEDWAY
WEST LEBANON, NY (May 27) -- Steve Kinser captured the Memorial Day win capping off another perfect weekend of racing for teams riding on the Hoosier brand. The win was Kinser's seventh main event win (eighth overall) in the series this season and was worth $10,000.

Twenty-two cars were on hand to post qualifying times--14 on Hoosiers. Lance Dewease was fast qualifier at 17.470 seconds followed by another driver on Hoosier rubber, Joey Saldana.

All three heats and both dashes were won by Hoosier-shod drivers. Mark Kinser, Randy Hannagan and Danny Lasoski each won their respective heat races, while Steve Kinser and Danny Lasoski won their respective dashes.

In the 25-lap feature, Danny Lasoski looked to be on his way to victory when mechanical problems ended any hope for a win by the defending series champion. Lasoski's mechanical woes had Steve Kinser assuming the race lead on lap 20. Kinser led the remainder of the way to capture the win. Kinser elected to run the 25-lap race on a Hoosier D12/D15 set-up.

Craig Dollansky collected the runner-up spot on a pair of D15's while collecting the $5,500 second place payout. Lance Dewease, using the same compound combination as the race winner, rounded out the top three.

The top six drivers to cross the stripe in the feature were outfitted on the Hoosier brand. Donny Schatz, Daryn Pittman and Tim Shaffer finished fourth through sixth, respectively. All told, ten of the top eleven finishers were using Hoosier tires. Joey Saldana, Mark Kinser, Fred Rahmer and Randy Hannagan finished eighth through eleventh, respectively, for the purple team.

The three wins now extends Team-Hoosier's Pennzoil World of Outlaws Series record to 28 wins in 31 races contested to date. The series resumes tonight at Rolling Wheels Raceway in Elbridge, NY.

Steve Kinser remains atop the series standings followed by Danny Lasoski, Mark Kinser, Craig Dollansky, Joey Saldana, Tim Shaffer and Donny Schatz in second through seventh, respectively--all of whom compete on Hoosier tires.
