In Friday's preliminary, Lance Dewease led all 30 laps en route to collecting his 58th win at the historic track and tying Fred Rahmer for the all-time lead in wins at the 1/2-mile oval. Dewease was followed to the line by fellow Posse members Fred Rahmer and Greg Hodnett. The Outlaws would get their revenge though on Saturday when Danny Lasoski took the win followed by Dewease and Craig Dollansky. It was the 47th consecutive victory for Hoosier-shod drivers in the series. Amazingly, the Hoosier brand is undefeated at Williams Grove Speedway over the past three seasons. Hoosier Oval Track Dirt Product Manager Neil Cowman traveled to Pennsylvania to answer questions and to evaluate tire performance.

PRELIMINARY
MECHANICSBURG, PA (July 23) -- Forty-five cars jammed the pits at Williams Grove Speedway Friday night with 42 teams riding on Hoosier tires. Local driver Todd Hestor earned fast qualifier honors with his lap of 16.649 seconds followed by three more Posse members including Doug Esh, Kenny Jacobs and Fred Rahmer. Sammy Swindell was fifth on the qualifying leaderboard for the traveling Outlaws with the Hoosier brand used by 30 of the 31 fastest cars in time trials.

Paul McMahan, Craig Dollansky, Steve Kinser and Brian Paulus were the four heat race winners, while Lance Dewease and Greg Hodnett were the two Dash race winners. All six drivers captured their respective wins riding on Hoosiers. Also of note, one of the three teams not using Hoosiers switched to the purple tire brand after finishing sixth in their heat race.

In the 30-lap feature, all 26 starters were on Hoosier tires. Lance Dewease, who qualified 10th, got the jump at the drop of the green flag using a 94" RD12/RD15 (LR/RR) combination. Dewease was followed to the finish line by Fred Rahmer who charged from 18th place to finish in the runner-up spot. Rahmer, the current Williams Grove Speedway points leader, used a 96" RD12/RD15 set up en route to passing 16 cars. Greg Hodnett, using a pair of D12's, took third place to give the PA Posse a podium sweep over the Outlaw regulars.

Steve Kinser finished in fourth place followed by Kenny Jacobs, Kraig Kinser, Sammy Swindell, Mark Kinser, Keith Kauffman and Danny Lasoski.

FINALE
MECHANICSBURG, PA (July 24) -- Forty-one drivers posted times in qualifying with 39 of them on Hoosiers. The top 33 times were recorded by members of Team Hoosier with Paul McMahan claiming the fastest time. McMahan circled the 1/2-mile track in 17.038 seconds. Mark Kinser was second followed by Kenny Jacobs, Don Kreitz, Jr. and Danny Lasoski.

The four heat race winners were Joey Saldana, Donny Schatz, Danny Wood and Tim Shaffer. Lance Dewease was the first Dash winner, while Mark Smith won the second Dash giving the local drivers claim to the front row for the night's 30-lap feature race.

For the second consecutive night, all 26 feature starters rode atop the Hoosier brand. Previous night's winner Lance Dewease again took the lead from the outset--this time using a pair of RD15's. Dewease led the next 8 laps before third starting Steve Kinser took over the race lead. Kinser looked to be on his way to the win when disaster struck with his engine letting go which handed the lead to Danny Lasoski with seven laps to go. Lasoski, riding on a 94" RD12/RD15 combination, led the remainder of the distance to claim his first-ever Outlaws feature win at the facility.

Lasoski was followed to the line by Lance Dewease, Craig Dollansky (94" RD12/RD15), Jason Meyers (94" D12/RD15) and Sammy Swindell (96" RD12/RD15) in second through fifth, respectively. Mark Smith was sixth followed by Kenny Jacobs, Fred Rahmer, 17-year-old Lucas Wolfe and Joey Saldana.

Coupled with the win and Steve Kinser's 25th place finish after his power plant expired, Danny Lasoski now moves to within 40 points of Kinser in the World of Outlaws Series point standings.
