Hoosier Tire Releases New Compound Offering for Sports 2000

During the 2019 and 2020 seasons, Hoosier Tire has been field testing a new compound offering for Sports 2000 cars that participate mainly in the VS2 series. While this compound is not new, it has proven successful in other classes, specifically FF, F2000, Club Ford, FC.

Hoosier has improved our safety liner for big tire applications that are using item numbers 18780, 18790 and 18910. This new tire (part # 32401) is commonly used on Pro Mod, Alcohol Funny Car, Alcohol Dragster as well as having a big impact on the No Prep scene!

New Spec Radial for Formula Continentals Announced

Hoosier is launching a new R55A radial for Formula Continentals competing within the F2000 series in 2021. The new spec radial is equipped with the same construction as the R35B FC radial used in club racing, but is fitted with the more durable “F2K” compound that performed well and met the consistency demands of the F2000 series from 2014-2019.
